passing through Amarillo

    Problem is that Texas is a rather large state, and distribution to Amarillo is totally different than distribution to DFW, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, etc. (which is where I assume a bulk of TX BAs are located).

    Party Stop is the liquor store I go to when in town and they never disappoint. It may not be as good as what you'd find in bigger cities, but you won't find better in Amarillo.

    Amarillo is a desert of decent beer. I've never found an oasis on my rare travels thereto.

    Possibly the worst mid size city in Texas, my sister lives there sand I try to never visit.

    I used to think that, too...I've stopped there for the night every summer for the past fifteen years and never found any place that had decent beers - both on-premise and off-premise...until Saturday...
