Pasting into reply box on iPad not working

    Title says it all. Copying and pasting into reply box on a thread doesn't work. It pastes nothing. Doesn't happen anywhere else on my iPad.

    Copying and pasting is handled at the device/OS/browser level. It has nothing to do with the website.

    Not sure what else to tell you other than: a quick Google of the topic shows that this is a fairly common issue for iPad users too.

    Regardless, there's no code on our end that controls if you can copy/paste something or not. This is note a site bug.

    Test copy/paste


    See test as first line. Works fine on this iPad with Safari and latest version of iOS. Above typed in mail, copied there, pasted here.

    Happens on my iPad 1 on multiple browsers, must be this version of iPad.

    Could be. There were some changes made between 1 and 2 that made a difference in what software would do. The 1 I first used was passed on to someone else when 2 arrived so I can't check that for you.
