Anybody gotten the chance to try this yet? I hear it is coming to El Bait and Zombie Burger on tap soon.

Also, according to a post from Peace Tree on Facebook, their first shipment of their lineup was loaded on a truck headed to Minnesota today. Their footprint is slowly expanding.

The Cellar Peanut Pub in Oskaloosa is going to be tapping our keg tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait!

Also saw a tweet that the Keg Stand in West Des Moines has this on tap as of this afternoon. Hoping to try this soon.

I wonder if this has Belgian yeasts in it, like their other IPAs? That is the only thing I don't like about theirs. The hop profiles are great, but the Belgian yeasts don't really gel with me. I'd love to see a non-Belgian IPA from them. I think it would be spectacular!

The wholesale distributor is Artisan Beer Co. (them's the 'new digs' for "Beerguy Brad" if'n that means anything to ya.) Based solely on all of that "Chick Beer" placement, it should have a pretty wide range of distribution. :sunglasses:

Is that because they were chosen by Surly as their distribution partner................

I thought it was because of all those yummy Game On beers! :grimacing:

Hope I get a chance to try this IPA. Peace Tree is one of the better Iowa Breweries IMO, their barrel aged stuff isn't bad at all. The only thing I don't agree with all of the time is their use of Belgian yeast.

Had it at Crescent Moon in Omaha. A very good AIPA from peace tree!

Hope they decide to can/bottle this one.

Speaking of cans, anyone know an ETA on their Kolsch in cans?

At least on draft at the brewery, that is problem the best American Kolsch I have ever had. In fact, I thought it was even better than Sunner or Reissdorf.

edit: I need to google before I post...:flushed:

"Also, as many of you may already be aware, we will be coming out with our Spring/Summer seasonal Sidekick Kolsch. We are really excited for this and you can expect to find it here on tap late next week, in bars by the later half of the month, and in CANS(!!!) early this Summer."

I could have swore I read on Facebook that they said their Kolsch would be in cans by the end of May.
