I have briefly read about these in homebrew forums, and was wondering if there are any breweries out there actually making this stuff. I 've never seen any at my bottle shops, but man, do they sound tasty! I just might cave and try to brew one myself.

I was literally about to post a thread about this yesterday. Great call.

I've only heard of Short's Uber Goober, and I'm dying to try it.

For some reason, the thought of powdered peanut butter is very off putting to me.

Willoughby Brewing: Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter. It is awesome.

You can use unsalted peanuts or preservative free peanut butter as well - there are ways to remove a good portion of the oil if you really care that much about head retention.

Beer Works in Boston made a peanut butter porter years ago and I thought it was atrocious. It saddened me because I'm frankly addicted to peanut butter.

Coincidentally, I'm about to try brewing a peanut butter porter myself. I'm scared to see how bad it will turn out haha.

I know The Bruery did Peanut Butter BALS.....never got to try it, but I heard it was unreal. Wish they would bottle that one.

I was extremely excited to try this beer, but unfortunately got an infected bottle - tons of carb and green apples.

It seems as though infection has been a huge issue with just about every popular peanut butter beer made. Hopefully Terrapin's doesn't have an issue when it comes out in November.

Not a peanut butter stout, but the funky buddha no crusts pb&j brown ale is one of the most amazing beers i have been lucky to have on multiple occasions!

This is the best one I've had. Uber Goober is pretty good, but the No Crusts I had was awful... could have been the bottle, I guess.

Yep it's an awesome beer. I'm lucky to be like ten minutes away from Willoughby.

Interested in setting up a trade? I would love to try some of this. If not are there any others out there that would like to do a trade for this one?
