Yep, very excited for this show. Bars in the area that have the best craft beer selection are;

Pub 1848 - walking distance from the venue
Okeefes Irish pub - walking distance (have Enjoy By and Revolution Unsessionable on draft)

Not within walking distance, but possibly worth checking out is Ribco in Rock Island. They had a 35th anniversary party on Saturday and have 2011 BCBS, parabola, black note... (just to name a few of my favorites) and many others. Whether these beers will still be available come Friday, that's yet to be seen. They update their website (ribco.com) quite regularly.

If you are in Bettendorf, the Hyvee on Middle Rd./Devils Glenn Rd. just got many, many cases of Golden Nugget from Toppling Goliath on Friday. Should be plenty left for you come Friday.

 

I'm heading over there as well. Excited to find out where my 10 Club tickets end up at. Should be a great show. Smallest venue on the tour I believe. I might check out Bier Stube since Wishlist Foundation is over there. Depends on what time we make it over there.

 

I think 10 club tix might be the ga pit.

 

10 club GA will be the pit. They usually also have 10 club reserved seats, which might be the section right in the middle on the floor. It's unlabeled on the stubhub web site.

 

I've got reserved. I don't want to spend all day in line and then stand all night for GA. Maybe some day, but not for a 5 hour roundtrip Friday night.

Looks like Bent River is pretty close. Is that worth checking out or is Bier Stube and the Wishlist party the way to go?

 

We will be staying near the venue. Hoping those two nearby locations maybe serve food also?

I wish I could bring my bottle of The Dissident to share but I can't imagine these bars would be cool with that. Safe travels to all today. Hope this half day of work goes quickly.

 

I just checked the FB event for Bier Stube and there's 400+ people RSVPed already. I'm thinking of hitting Bent River or O'Keefe's based on food and liquor options for the rest of our group.

Bent River brewery might allow bottles.

 

No fucking Code gentlemen. That was fantastic. I lost it when they played Brain of J. That's the one I was hoping for. It blew me away. Great show. Great pre-show at Bier Stube too. Anti-Hero & Steigl Radler on draft. That was what I was double fisting.
