Best I could do was a menu from Hay Merchant the week of April 1st 2012.

    *BOINNNNNNNNNNNNG*

That sounds awesome. I brought a Choc Gose to the Nobi bottle share and just absolutely loved it. I poured it over a pork taco I got. Salty goodness

well that's confusing as shit... what the hell is a gose style porter?

aren't goses supposed to be >50% wheated malt?

did the pecan porter have a lemony salty goodness to it?

the current state of experimental style blending is starting to blow my mind... dogs and cats, living together! mass hysteria!

We were told it was Pecan Porter with Black Sea Salt added. Out of that cask line-up, it was EASILY the best beer. Suck on that BBA Hellfighter.

I emailed them, and got no response, just so you guys know. It was really good, though.

It was pretty good. Not "gosey" at all, just a slightly salty porter. It kinda varied in intensity pour to pour.

That Stone Smoked Porter with vanilla tasted exactly like a Black & Mild.

Yeah, "Gose" was an odd addition, but I really liked it. If you see them, do you think you can ask them what's up about it?

Now that I think about it, I actually had this on Easter Sunday last year and took notes. I can't find my notebook though.

I did not really care for it and my girlfriend and I didn't want to finish the half pint we had. But then again, we had three other excellent beers at the same time. I guess I would try it again, as I'm sure my palate has changed in the last year. But yeah...I don't think anybody is missing out on much.

    (512) definitely owns the special cask game in TX. I swear I've seen at least 25 different variations of beer (perhaps more)
