I just wanted to see what are many of your opinions.
I have an xmas share this weekend and i can’t decide whether to pop peche n brett or last snow. They are both good to me but torn between the two. Let me know your thoughts thanks.

This would be easier if deciphering between two different wild peach ales, or two different coconut porters. Unfortunately, the deciding factor is between two separate styles. So, perhaps analyze the audience; what would they most enjoy, as coconut isn’t the friendliest of adjuncts, or akin to everyone’s liking (e.g. sweet, artificial, etc.)

If the predicament is more so timing, where one is opened now, and the other many years from now, then the lower abv porter is the safer bet for saving grace

Also, consider what else is being brought to the share, and is it heavy sided via abv, style, format

The BA reviews on Peche and Brett have some pretty nice detailed reviews done by some pretty expert Ba-ers... may be fun to print out for your fellow tasters as notes...

You say “they are both good to me” - so you’ve had them both before?

Just open them both and stop being such a cheap ass.

^Yeah, I usually bring multiple bottles to a share, unless you're having more than 10 people show up, in which case it's not worth attending at all...and even 10 can be too many...

In any case, I'd say the answer to this depends on what everyone else is bringing. I wouldn't bring multiple sours to a share that was majority sours, or a stout to a share that was majority stouts, unless the intent is outwardly stated to be a single-style share, which I can only handle in small doses.

Variety is the spice of life and trying to mix things up is always a good bet.

I would say definitely the Peche n Brett.
But only because I have never had it and I have had (and enjoyed) Last Snow numerous times.

I think the answer depends upon your audience.
Using a scale of 1 (craft newbies) to 10 (Experts in the field). If your crowd is a 4 or below - Last Snow will go over big. If your crowd is a 8+, Peche n Brett. A 5, 6 or 7- you are on your own.
