I just traded a Baller Stout and Kabert for one, got crickets on Baller alone, then added Kabert and got several responses. I may have overshot, or not, but I really wanted to try P'n'B

 

im looking for one but not sure what to offer for a fair deal. would like to hear some feedback as well

 

I've traded them as part of package deals which included things like Kopi Speedway and Cherry Rye.

I also am including one in my cancer donation LIF.

 

I traded a BCBCS and a shelf HF bottle for one. Cant remember the bottle.

 

Much like Fantasia most of the Portland traders shipped what was left of their allotments off to regular trading partners, putting the value more or less at what we paid for it. I think the people who picked up CA distro bottles may have done more of the visible trading on the ISO:FT board.

 

I traded a BCBCS and some very nice extras for mine.

 

I still have one lying around. Cantillon is the only thing I'd trade it for.

Seems like your inbox was flooded with offers for the beers you asked for, LOL. Guess that means you didn't ask for its proper value.

 

It's about $20, and should trade for limite locals and some brewery-only releases. Not distributed outside The west coast, and most stores got one case total.

 

I traded mine plus Odio Equum and BCBS for a Fou Foune. PnB was so good, and I had the same mentality as you.

 

$25 here in CA. I traded for cherry rye 1:1 and BoT 2:1

I have a few left but holding on these for some whalesbro.

 

I traded a KH + Bligh's for 2x PnB

 

I traded x2 Resurgam for one. The two Resurgam cost more but I was not concerned about it.

 

Herein lies the problem. As someone else noted distro in CA generally meant 1 case per store. Therefore due to 1 bottle per customer limits CA BAs are trying to put a higher value on this. Meanwhile Portland BAs could go buy more or less as much as they wanted, though the price tag kept many of us from purchasing more than we planned on holding onto or immediately sending out to regular trade partners. That said, there are a number of OR BAs that have stockpiled this, meaning that it is unlikely to get to whale status anytime soon because if a truly strong ISO comes up one of us will jump at it.

To me many of the trade (2 Resurgum; KH + Blighs) gave up too much for PnB. But I guess if none of us in Portland are responding to ISOs then I guess these types of trades really are the market value.

 

If anyone else wants to make this trade, I'll make up the $$$ difference.

To contribute, I sent one out in part of a $4$ trade for non-special release HF beers.
