So I was only able to get one bottle of Logsdon Farmhouse's Peche n Brett (Batch 2), unfortunately. I was told to sit on the beer for a while before drinking it but have seen some reviews of batch 2 on here and it sounds great already. For those of you who have had batch 1, was it better fresh or with some age? I haven't had the pleasure of trying it fresh or aged so I'd really appreciate the opinion of people who have tried it both fresh and aged.

By the way, anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of trying any of Logsdon's lineup, I'd highly recommend giving them a try!

    Thanks in advance

Not sure who told you to sit on it, but fresh the beer is an amazing peach bomb. Aged is still peachy and good, but I think you should experience it fresh.

It was actually the guy at the store who sold it to me. I appreciate the advice, a fresh peach bomb sounds delicious! I think I may crack it open tonight

I tried a batch 1 the other night and was supremely underwhelmed. Everyone there who had tried it earlier said it had fallen off a cliff. Based on that I'd recommend drinking it fresh, which is the rule of thumb with fruited beers anyway.

The guy at the store doesn't necessarily know what he's talking about.

I had it about 3 months old and it was excellent. Reminded me a lot of fresh Mimosa (with peach instead of orange of course).

Peach, but I would call it a peach bomb. If you have one, drink it. You can always trade for more from this guy <---
