Headed up to Peekskill Brewery yesterday for lunch with my brother and was really impressed. Mike behind the bar was great, taking the time to discuss each beer and made sure our glasses were always full. He even walked us over to the new location when it got a little slow and introduced us to the chief and the owner who were busy with the new brewing equipment and coolship which had just been delivered. They both took a few minutes to talk beer and the new location. The place is gonna rock - 4 floors and 2 sours on draught. The best part of the trip was the amazing brews. The IPAs are unbelievable. The Eastern Standard and Double Standard were world class. The Shotgun Willie was really unique and delicious. The Zeitgeist berlinerweiss was really refreshing. I can't say enough about the people and the beers at Peekskill. I recommend everyone check this place out.

Going here is on my list of things to do. A road trip in Fall from LI seems like a fun day. When is the new location opening?

They said they wanted to be at least partially open by the end of the year.

Love their beer. Mike is a great bartender for sure. Chief is, well, one of America's best brewers. Period.

Didn't kinow about the coolship delivery and the two sours planned to be on tap at their future location, but that is.....

    FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!!!!
