From Facebook - coinciding with Tampa Bay Beer Week, Peg’s Cantina is hosting a food and beer pairing event (as if Barrel-Aged Day and Double Rainbow Jelly Doughnut Day weren’t enough!!!) I’ll be at all of the above events-can’t wait!!! BTW, if you haven’t looked at Tampa Bay Beer Week’s Facebook page lately, it’s mind-blowing. It’s going to be a great week! "Calling all ladies interested in learning about craft beer & pairings... We’d like you to join us Tuesday night on our porch for our first beer tasting and pairing. We’ll taste 5 traditional American craft beer styles, pair each with a small plate (prepared by Tony), and discuss. Hopefully we’ll learn how to identify and describe beer, and understand why some beers go better with certain foods. Kristina and Peg (with the help of head brewer Doug, and Tony’s cooking skills) will be hosting and answering any questions, but we’d like to hear your impressions and thoughts. The cost is $25, and seating will be limited, so reservations are required. Please email [email protected] to make a reservation. Hope to see you then!" https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pegs-Cantina-Brew-Pub/166935949992807
Oops, I forgot to put the date and time for Pink Pints on my post - Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 6:00 pm.
I happen to know that RareER D.O.S. is being tapped on Friday as well (believe it's a Rum Barrel treatment instead of the usual Whiskey). Only 15 gallons were brewed! Wish I could make it down!
Hey ya’ll, I’m stoked for tonight. FYI-I’ve been told that husbands, boyfriends, significant others, better halves, etc are all welcome to come enjoy some delicious Peg’s food and G.O.O.D. beer with us.
