Pelican Bay

    I'm going to pacific city today and was going to check out pelican bay pub. Any recommendations?

    Yes, do it. Plus, it's just Pelican, no bay. It's lovely there, and the beer, while not awesome, is solidly enjoyable. You will have a great time.

    I haven't seen it in a while in bottles, but I really enjoyed their saison. I'd definitely give that one a go if they have it on tap.

    It was on tap last Wednesday for sure...drank a few of them on the patio.

    I am heading down to rockaway next weekend (did the trip 2 years ago about same time, tried to pop into the pelican in pacific city and it was slammed; never got in for food, just grabbed some bottles). My question is how is the pelican brewery in Tillamook? Just as packed? (At least a shorter drive from rockaway).

    Less packed in my experience and, if they're re-opened, you can hit De Garde. Win win.
