I will be spending a few days in pella for work, are there any places that are of note in town? Sours are my preferred style but German style seasonals and a good ipa also really hit the spot.
Consider yourself pretty lucky if you can find a place that even serves beer, let alone craft beer. They run pretty conservative down there. Like getting stern looks for mowing your yard on Sunday conservative.
The only beer I've seen in pella are BMc products. You might need to make a stop on the way down to stock up.

Stop at the HyVee Wine&Spirits - Last time in town I was surprised by the amount of Founders Backstage bottles they had plus some other more limited beers. Might be worth to see what the college students pass over.
