Pending Chicago Trip - The Loop Area

    I'll be in Chicago (without car) on business in the hear future staying at the Marriott in the Loop. Any good locations to check ouit? Preliminary research indicates Miller's Pub may be the best in walking distance, but I would love some input. Thanks in advance.

    Villiain's is close. Will you have lots of free time? If so, I would suggest hopping on the Blue Line and hitting up places like Revolution or Piece.

    Not really walkable, but Haymarket is a bus/train ride away ($2.25 one way or 15-20 minutes). Also would recommend Jak's in the West Loop and maybe Clark St. Ale House (could take Red line train north to Chicago stop probably 15 min trip).

    Haymarket, Clark St. Ale House, and Monk's Pub are all great.

    Besides the above, Rock Bottom is a short walk and they have a great roof top garden.
