I have recently moved out to the Peninsula and am looking to put together regular tastings out here (I have big bottles and want to share!). It doesn't have to be anything too crazy. I'm down for one or two people joining me for more regular weekly sessions, and larger groups for monthly tastings.

I'm interested in trying both smaller scale beers from local shops or trades, and also digging into my cellar for some really special brews.

I have recently moved from Colorado and brought my whole cellar with me (lots of limited CO beers), and I am a Crooked Stave Reserve member, so I will be getting bottles pretty regularly from my trustee out in Denver.

One tasting I would really like to set up is a sour/funk Peach-based one. I have a bottle of Persica I'm dying to crack, and if anyone has something like Veritas 10 or Logsdon's Peche'n Brett, that would be a great night IMO.

Feel free to reply here, or send me BM's. I've never set up a tasting, so constructive criticism or help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and I am based in Redwood City.

    -Kirill

I wish I had a regular line on Fou Foune! It was delicious. There should be a tasting at Grape and Grain either this Sunday or next. I'm not available this weekend, so I'm trying to find out if it can be held next week instead (especially because we're getting a late start on announcing it). You would be most welcome with your tasty Colorado treats...

We should have put a picture of the peach pie in the photo as well, or at least the empty pie pan.

We were pretty lazy putting this lineup together. If we were cool we'd have had a Veritas 010.

We considered grabbing a 6 pack, but the whole being really lazy thing got in the way.

I would think the it sucking thing got more in the way.

We can always re-do this tasting in the future. I have an extra of all of those except the Upright Sole Comp with Apricots. That is a hard one to track down as is Peche 'n Brett.

PS, we forgot to include the Lindeman's Peche Lambic in the picture as well.

That would be awesome, maybe we could even pool together to get some Veritas 10. I would also be interested in other fruit specific sour tastings. For instance, I have Crooked Stave Batch 1, which would be great for a raspberry/framboise gathering.
