i was seeing on the trade forums people saying that they have 2016 BCBS... how the heck is that possible?
I only see one person offering it, not people. He says he has it not pre. Just message him and ask what's up.
If anyone has it now, they would be connected to GI or a major distributor, and would be in breach of some agreement to share, trade, or even talk about it. This has happened with smartphones in the past, where a test version is sold, stolen, or lost - and ultimately someone gets in trouble over it. We are only a little over a month from release though so not surprising that they'd already be bottling.
There will be a million cases this year. Don't bother just go buy it when it gets to retail. I saw a bunch of last years in a shop this summer for $10 a bottle. I passed. Not a huge fan. Enjoy
It's already bottled so it's just GI giving it out to employee's or people close to the company (distributors, etc).
Ive seem several youtube beer reviewers who have gotten 2016 bottles directly from GI for review already
The guys got tight connections that's for sure, and some parts of the country get a disproportional amount. Seems like I see its on the shelf in say Ny or RI some places in Pa today. Some states are notoriously expensive when it was in 4 pack form some places were charging $32 where most were $20 ish.
Retail outlets are sometimes clueless as the the intended Black Friday release and just put them out.
