Regardless of anything else where would you hypothetically live for the most prime access to beer selection/stores/bars/etc...

SF seems like a good choice. Some big brewers like 3 floyds and founders aren't available, but its a trade off for Russian River and The Bruery (among many others on each side of course). The foodie culture helps out (Chicago also has one) and the bar scene is great.

Kind of like where I am at in the DC area. The few things I can't get are nice day trips and beercations as well.

More and more new breweries also keep distributing here, it just keeps on coming in too...

Honestly, I'm real happy being in the greater Boston are. Yes, we don't get Russian River or 3 Floyds, but we have our fair share of world class beers either right here or within a few hours' ride.

Brussels or most places in England would be my first choices. Munich, Asheville, and San Diego are up there as well. But I can't really complain about the Minneapolis-Saint Paul beer scene either, so I get to keep those other awesome places as great vacation spots.

San Diego. Its not even close for me. So many big, world class breweries and tons and tons of small up and comers. The beer bars are awesome and the weather is awesome 12 months a year.

I would maintain an apartment in downtown Brussels and a chalet somewhere in central Vermont.

Having recently moved from Portland, where I spent most of my life, and now living in Seattle I feel pretty confident I wouldn't want to live anywhere else (beer speaking, weather is a different story. then San Diego for sure). Basically the PNW is the place to be for beer

Near an airport, so you can visit all the great beer cities.

Saxapahaw, North Carolina because it's a wonderful area and Haw River Farmhouse Ales is right there with a tight little group of businesses, restaurants, bars, a brewery, in a tiny little river junction. This region keeps coming forward. Cheers all!

Not bad choices. Bend in the summer, North Carolina in the winter. Unless you're a skier, then just flip-flop the order.

Chicago area. There's plenty of great local breweries, plus, 31 Binny's Beverage Depots that have countless beers from the U.S. and around the world.

Specifically, just north of Oakland Airport. Less than $100 flights to Portland and San Diego, and a stone's throw from Russian River, Lagunitas, Bear Republic and Heretic.
