So there was this really cool thread about beer at ball-parks (the stadium where the Mariners play specifically. I'm too lazy to post the link, but search for the thread. It's great.) and the different beers they serve. So this got me thinking, if you were in some sort of hot weather situation (anything above 75 degrees fahrenheit), what beer would you be cravin? Me? Something sour. Some Dogfish Head Festina Peche sounds really good but some Bells Oarsmen or a belgian sour would really hit the spot. How 'bout you?

It would have to be a good Saison for me. It will be a cold day hell before that type of beer is offered at a ball park. *sigh*

It rarely gets above 75 degrees in Seattle, even at the height of baseball season.

When it does get hot though, give me a nice cold hefeweizen or American IPA.

great (D)IPA in cans, say NEBCO gandhi bot or sierra nevada torpedo.

or, (maximum) a great pilsner, like berkshire brewing company's czech pils. one of my fondest recent beer memories is having some berkshire pils on tap on a 90+ degree afternoon. perfect beer for the moment.

Last summer I really got into Gose's and Berliner Weissbier's. Slighty tart and sessionable perfect for a warm summer day.

Zombie Dust comes to mind. Any American (D)IPA I like really, just not 90 Minute and more malt forward ones. That refreshing bitterness hits the spot. I never had anything sour in the summer, but I could see that working too.

Speaking of beer in ballparks, going to a minor league game in Ashveville, NC was a great beer experience. I did actually have a nice local saison there.

Back to the question, Victory Prima Pils is a great thirst quencher.
