If that was in the energy drink aisle (and was an energy drink...), I'd probably pass on it due to the label.

For stronger beers I love the 8.4 oz can used by 21st Amendment for their Lower De Boom Barleywine. But then I also love the 330 ml St. Feuillien’s Saison can-- it's just over 11 oz but seems so slim and elegant.

Not new or practical, but I think traditional gose bottles are pretty bad-ass. Anyone know of any available in the US?

In my opinion there are just something's that shouldn't be canned...

Just for the sake of arguing, why is 12 ounces the perfect size for anything. Because it would be quite the coincidence if 12 ounce cans or bottles was the perfect size and that just happens to be the most popular size made. Also 12 ounces being the perfect size implies the rest of the world doesn't know what the hell they are doing. The United States is the only major superpower that uses the ridiculous ounce, pound model. The fact we don't use such an obvious better system as the liter makes absolutely no sense to me. And don't even get me started on feet and inches and yards. Bahahahahhahaha

I wouldn't know how to answer. I mean I only have one glass and it's only 12 ounces. Usually what I do is I try to fit the whole can into the glass and then I get beer everywhere.

    YEA! stupid America! (Sarcasm)

I don't have to have a reason I like 12 oz. better I just do. Like you stated you cant fit 16 oz. in a 12 oz. glass. I could go out and buy special 16 oz. glasses but... no. I don't want to buy a different glass for every size can/bottle. Also as previously stated by someone, 12 oz. seems to be the perfect size for having 2 beers and not feeling that special feeling coming on. When I drink 2 16 oz. I will usually start feeling buzzed. Especially because it seems the higher ABV the bigger the container. that seems gimmicky to me.

I don't mean to start an argument but, If you hate America's way of doing things... Why stay? How is anyone else way of measuring "Obviously better". Because it's not American?

Yes, that aberration has been pointed out, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find another example.

Lump me in with the 12 ounce can/bottle crowd. I don't know about MOST glassware, but most of MY glassware is designed for 12-ounce pours.

Not that hard. 4 packs of pint cans typically cost the same (if not more) than 6 packs of 12 oz cans or bottles.

Can't say I see this too often. But anyways, yeah, the whole concept of quantity discount is a fallacy.....
