"Perfectly balanced"

I've only ever had one bottle bomb. I bottle condition in 12 oz. bottles in their cardboard cases, under one of the workbenches in my office. One night I was sitting at my desk and heard an explosion. While trying to figure out where it had come from I suddenly realized I smelled beer... I started lining all my boxes with plastic trash bags after that. Sucks when you forget to stir the priming sugar in the bottling bucket. At least the rest of them made it and it turned out to be a very tasty AIPA, albeit some more fizzy than others. You're right though, it's funny... now.
