I recently purchased 3 Perlick 630SS faucets for my kegerator and two are working perfectly. When I pour they open smoothly and "snap" back into the o-ring seal when I close the faucet. the The third faucet does not open as crisply and does not snap back into the closed position after a pour. After a pour the faucet drips for a few seconds, stops and then 30 seconds later spurts about 1/2 ounce of beer into the drip tray or glass if I leave it there that long. After this spurt, which is the same amount of liquid each time, it seals and is fine until i pour again. I've had it apart twice to clean everything, check the o-rings, and re-assemble even though it's only 2 weeks old. I'm still having the same problem and don't really know what else to look for or do. I bought Perlick faucets to avoid issues like dripping and sticking, so I'm getting pretty frustrated. Thanks for the help.
faucets, like any other manufactured part, are subject to defect. return them to your retailer for a replacement. it is not common, but not unheard of either. the 630 design is as solid as can be. the older 525 was a nightmare for everyone. just return for a refund or replacement. this is not something that can be fixed. if it is two weeks old and it is leaking at the faucet, you have a defective part. simple as that. Cheers.
