Its not available super fresh but that beer holds for a looong time, I opened one almost four months after purchase and it had barely fallen in taste. Unless you open the bottle within the first couple weeks of bottling theres not gonna be a real difference unless you get an ancient b1 or b2 bottle
When it is available for sale (once or twice a year) it lasts a matter of days at the brewpub. I just drank a 6 week old bottle a few days ago, and it was still incredible.
Of all the Pale Ales I've ever had, it's probably the best one I've ever consumed! When it is available for sale at the carry out kiosk next, I'm def bringing home a case, maybe two (yes, it's that good)! Thank god I still have a couple left!
I've had both Permanent Funeral and Dreadnaught with over 4 months on them and still enjoyed them both immensely. They definitely don't drop off nearly as fast as Pliny or Heady but I have no idea why.
So I assume that's the most recent batch?? I've been wanting to try this one for a while. How much does it cost?
I believe it was $10 a bomber at the brewery, can't remember exactly. I thought it was way too malty thick and sweet (which is why I think it keeps itself up for longer) for my tastes :X. Liked their other DIPAs much more. Bought 5 and ended up giving them away to my friend
