Funny part is I hate malted milk balls, so was initially heistant to try it. But ended up really loving this beer.\
Never had the beer, but they should make real malted milk balls with those flavors. I thought that what it was at first. That would be awesome.
saw a few kegs hit the distributor... if I recall, they were $600+. I'm sure it's good, but that's one hell of a premium.
I got a Facebook message from a beer site that they had just tried it on tap. Probably staying within Michigan.
They do growler fills? I could be interested in a trade for some Chicago brews if anyone's interested, Bm me
Barf! Gag! I'm guessing that's a half barrel price, I pray to fucking J-man that's a half barrel price. If not, Perrin is out their mind!
Unfortunately no growler fills...I asked two weeks ago at the brewery and was denied. That beer is truly amazing.
That's too bad, for Perrin's sake. Ripping off their draft accounts, which will have to pass it on to their customers.
I had it at the brewery a few weeks ago. It tastes exactly like its description (delicious), but for $9 a glass it was expensive even there. I shudder to think what it'll list for on draft.
I live 1 mile from Perrin and there seem to be a few incorrect things in this thread. 1. They do in fact fill Howlers and Growlers of Malted Milk Ball. They have for ~ a month or so now. 2. 8oz pour =$7.00 It is glorious and they just won a silver medal at FOBAB for it Saturday.
Who got the Gold? Had to look it up. Central Waters. Bells had best of show, for a Brett beer. Need to try that some day. http://www.beerdownload.com/wordpress/2013/11/16/fobab-2013-results/
