Perrin No Rules

I'm in Lansing this weekend with the in-laws, anybody know if there might be anything around here? Or any good stores to stop by?

 

May be hard finding any no rules left but when in the Lansing I always try to hit up Vine and Brew in Okemos

 

As far as easy lansing goes:

Renos east and soup spoon cafe still have it on draft I believe. Bottles probably not around any more.

Give toms party store, on the rocks, vine and brew, dustys cellar, or big10 a visit though. Horrocks on the other side if town is great too. They may not have no rules but they'll have something you'll like I'm sure.

 

Check out big grocery stores. Some are putting this out after holding in back for regulars.

 

Tom's party store had it as of yesterday morning. Behind the counter. Have to ask for it.


Right next door is whole foods they had a founders take over yesterday with some ok stuff to check out

 

I've been avoiding that place like the plague until the hype dies down a little bit. Which won't be much with whole foods, but every time I drive by it doesn't look like there is a single empty parking spot.

This doesn't help the OP now but I know or Saturday afternoon there was a single bottle of No Rules on the shelf at the okemos meijer. Surprisingly their price was higher than anyone else's this year.

 

Did you end up finding some? Merchants in Fenton had some as of last night.

 

Yes I did. Grabbed some extras to possibly trade but the trade board is so saturated with No Rules I haven't had any luck. I'm not complaining about having to drink them though.

 

I was actually really excited to find one, now its just finding the right night (aka no need to drive) to enjoy it

 

I usually have no problems finishing a bomber in an evening. No Rules, as incredible as it is, is so sweet that I couldn't quite do it. Probably had to pour out the last 4 ounces. Next time I'll share the bottle.

 

It's so sweet and strong that you could probably put a wine stopper in the bottle and save the rest for the next day.

 

I've done both. I've got a plastic wine stopper from one of my wife's wine bottles that comes in handy to save for the next day. Or I've downed a bomber of NR in an evening. Don't judge me though!

 

Yeah I for sure would have done that but I wouldn't have been able to get back to it for a few days.
