This is my biggest want of 2013 so far, and I was wondering if there is any updated information on when it will be released (website states first quarter of 2013), how many bottles will be made? Will it be reserve society only? How hard will it be to trade for? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!
I saw a post from Chad somewhere that Persica and one other cellar reserve beer (can't remember which one) were not going to have any extras and members would get 2x375ml bottles. The other reserve member beers there should be enough to get more after the 2x375ml bottle allotment. I'll see if I can find the post.
This. I've talked to Chad about it (today in fact). There will only be the 2 bottle allocation on this one. Also, this is Persica L'Brett based (I can't wait for this! I think that will be a notable improvement). That said, there is another Persica Wild Wild Brett in the plans, but it's unclear if this will make it out by the end of 2013 or if it will be an early 2014 release.

also if you haven't heard they're doing 2 versions, one with l'brett d'or base and one with st bretta base

i still haven't had l'brett d'or but everyone raves about it. i'm really glad he decided to do it this way, it's going to be really fucking cool to taste them side by side.
