Persica b1 for Peconic

    Just wondering what makes this trade a no go.

    Peconic is rated a 97 with 177 wants and 10 gots

    Persica is rated a 97 with 298 wants and 11 gots

    Both are relatively low bottles counts released over a year ago

    Just having a hard time getting it. At this point it seems Persica is 'hotter' on the boards so I guess I don't understand why there is ZERO interest. A little insight is all I'm after, oh yeah, and also a Peconic! :wink:

    I would've taken your offer if I had more than one Peconic left. But now I'm just looking for personal whales. Maybe a case of fresh Tipo Pils.

    I don't see how this trade wouldn't get done with a B1 Persica. Peconic should also be made again, although not as soon. I heard it was only around ~200 bottles or so? Maybe there are just none left on the trade market.

    Fuck do I know, hasn't it been done three times now? I know its not on any sort of regular schedule tho.

    Edit: I checked and its been released in '96, '02, and '11. Maybe more vintages, but thats all I could find.

    i traded a 2009 375ml blabaer for my peconic last month.. not sure if that helps, and i have never traded for persica since im also a CS reserve member so i really dont know how well persica trades for but hope this helps in some way

    To be helpful to OP, my girlfriend traded a Cable Car for a Peconic. If a blabs 375 can get it we may have slightly overpaid though.

    Actually probably not since the brewer from Southampton is now with Two Roads in CT. I have no solid info but given that aforementioned fact I would guess it won't be made again.

    I thought that but the year is key. '09 is arguably the best year for blayburr. Maybe I just personally value it more because of that.
