Anyone successfully traded for Persica? I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of stuff to offer, I feel like I've offered some pretty good stuff but I've got nothing so far. Bottle counts and price on that?

I believe I remember hearing that it was ~460 bottles. Crooked Stave Reserve members were the only ones that received any, they got one, maybe two bottles? Someone who was a CS Reserve member will know the specifics but I have tried at this one myself and struck out and thought I read this info somewhere. I joined the CS Reserve this year specifically to get my own Persica

Ouch, had no idea it was that low. I've been offering some pretty low count barrel aged Three Floyds but nothing so far. I think I've got a bottle that will get one out of hiding though . I heard about a batch 2 somewhere, any word on that?

Batch 2 should be out in mid April and they are doing 375ml bottles, 2 per member. You may have better luck with that one.

Batch 2 will be going out sometime in April. It will be members only and each member will get 2x 375ml bottle. Don't think there will be any extras. I think there are 400 members this year so figure bottle count is around 800

Last year bottles were 750ml so it's about the same amount of beer made but Crooked Stave moved to smaller bottles which is nice.

I believe some members were able to get 3, 750mL bottles last year. It was also poured in limited quantities at Avery Sour Fest and GABF. Most people I know who still have bottles would probably not trade them for anything. It's such a delicious beer.

One other note, IIRC from my last taproom visit, is that the base beer is different for batch 2. Batch 1 was the WWB base, while the new one is Brett D'or.

I traded a bottle of Persica for one bottle each of Fantasia, Logsdon Peche n Brett, Logsdon Oak Aged Bretta and Love Child. 4 to 1. Persica was b1.

I have struck out trying for batch 1 Persica as well. Not easy to get ahold of. Probably not much left out there...

Working on a trade for one right now actually! I think you should wait for the next release, it's gonna be a smaller format of course, but probably a bit easier to get. Good luck!

Trading for old peach/apricot sours is bound to make you sad in the end. Wait until April.

I've tried repeatedly to trade mine for Peconic.
