Personal notes feature?

    I have the impression this has been asked for before, but I think this site could really use something where people could put personal notes about beer if they don't want to review it. There are beers I really rather not review because they are not my style, and I don't feel like it's fair for me to slam it. I would like though being able to write an explanation to myself why I didn't care for it, so I don't make the same mistake again. You could also use it to remind yourself where you got it from, how much, was there a particular time of year or event going, would I buy again, and any other pertinent information. I know it seems like I could just write it down, but the reason I personally came to beer advocate was to track and organize the beers I have. Thanks.

    It has been asked several times before. Based on what I've seen said in the past, I don't think you'll get very far. The bros. take the view that they are running a public access site, not a private storage repository. So you'll probably need to store that type of informatioin on your own computer. But maybe things have changed...

    Understandable. If they made it a perk if you signed up for the magazine or a payed membership account I'd probably do it.
