For those of you who don't follow Petrol Station on Facebook, they are having a charity bottle share on Tuesday, October 30th at 7:00pm (tomorrow, at time of posting).

    Per their facebook:
Next Tuesday-- bottle share fundraiser . Bring $20 & a rare or unusual bottle. 7pm. All proceeds will be donated to Easter seals.
Ben's bringing porcine unidragon, genghis pecan, founders breakfast, heady topper, vintage black ops, vintage black butte anniversary, more than Jesus, vintage IRS, and many more to next Tuesday's charity bottle share benefiting Easter seals and team Garrett. What are you bringing?

Like they said on their FB: $20 and a rare or unusual bottle.

    Anyone else coming?

This may sound insensitive but I wish the $20 donation, and a "rare" bottle included a burger.

Why would it include a burger when all $20 goes to charity?

I guess most charity events I've been to/herd of, the hosting establishment offers a "special", and being that bottle shares are fairly common it didn't seem more than just that.

Let me clarify: what Petrol(ben) is doing is a great thing, but for someone who doesn't live "close" and on a weekday its hard to find it appealing.

The Karbach bottle share was midweek and it was a great time. As far as needing to get something in return for a charitable donation, I can't help ya there. I'll be happy to donate to a good cause, make a 6 year old kid happy, and share some great beers.

Petrol has some really good bottle shares. This one should be very nice.

All I have to say is this:

WHO BRINGS UTOPIAS TO A BOTTLE SHARE?

    Holy shit. That was intense.
