I need to start practicing controlling my pH levels so that i can move onto the next step of making better beer. Are there any particular kits that you guys suggest that would put me at a good place? I'd prefer quality over cheaper products that i'll have to end up replacing. Thanks!

Expensive isn't always needed for quality. I think I paid less than $40 for my pH meter and it rarely needs to be calibrated.

    You will also need:

    4.01ph solution
    7.01ph solution
    electrode cleaning solution
    electrode storage solution

The four solutions will cost about $30.

Alternatively, you can skip the entire purchase and trust the water calculators. I find them to be adequately accurate. The only thing I use the pH meter for now is measuring the pH of sours.
