Looks like it's just Fridays through Sundays right now.

Went last Thursday for lunch. Not into the sours & wild styles. But I did the 4 tasters they had on plus a guest beer. I heard they will have a new one on today. Nice place. I like that they serve guest beers.

The Cushing was absolutely fantastic. And not new-brewery-fantastic, like actually fantastic. Lugosi was great too.

The ABV's on those sours... that's some Cascade sneaky shit right there.

Lugosi and Bergman have been my favorite so far.

I like the place, but I literally can't buy a pint.

You can't at Barrelworks either so I'm not sure why that matters. You can buy a few at a time and pour them into your very own pint glass if that makes it better for you. I prefer drinking wild ales out of a snifter vs. chugging lagers out of a beer stein.

I agree. No issues paying more for less (volume wise) on sours, barrel aged, high alcohol, long term aged beers, but don't charge me $6 for a hoppy pale ale that is only 12 oz. Look at the picture above of the beers on tap. Then again I'm not going their for a pale ale. Either way just something that irks me, carry on praising Phantom Carriage. It's a cool place.

Their tasters are cheaper per oz than than full pours.

Was there a few hours ago & they had the following on draft: "leapwood" (french-style saison 5.1% abv), "muis" (belgian-style blonde w/ 100% brett 6.5% abv) & "cushing" (barrel-aged strong golden sour 11.1%abv). The bavarian pretzel was far out.

Here now, enjoying Cushing. Was on my way to Smog City and had to make a pit stop.

Most places these days pour 12-16oz and charge $6-7.50 for it. I think BW has always poured a proper pint for that style of beers. I remember when a pint of pliny was $6 and Blind Pig was $5.5. I believe its $7.5 and 7 these days. Prices have increased here in SoCal area. And it will continue to increase. Sours and wild ales will be more than the average price of a standard beer. I know of only a handful of places that still charges less than $6 for a pint. Alpine Brewpub is one of them. Toronado SF another.

Just checked this place out today. I'm impressed. Need more Bergman and Rathbone in my life. Love the ambiance too.

What were those two? I'm going there tomorrow for the second time, was hoping for some of those delicious ~12% abv sours I had last time
