Phase Three Brewing (2019)

Last year was alphabetical so not super far apart if they go that way again

That makes at least two of us. The ratio of I wish I had FB to thank Jebus I don't have FB is strongly in favor of the latter. By a lot.

 

It’s not like Shaun and the More owners will the ones pouring the beers at the beer fest.

 

No Shaun will have one of his employees pouring....

Sure, but he’s probably not pouring. Volunteers of some sort usually are the ones pouring.

 

I don't know how the Mikerphone festival is set up, but I know I've seen Shaun personally pouring at other fests.

While everyone is more interested in the More/Phase Three drama, I noticed that Shaun posted the collab he worked on yesterday with Brickstone. That one has my interest for sure, as Brickstone is one of the sneaky good hazy producers in the area. Cans and draft via Brickstone in a few weeks, so I'm thinking this may/should hit distro.

 

Yeah this is pretty off based on last year’s fest. It could be different this year I suppose

 

I seem to recall the only breweries who had volunteers pouring at SLBF last year were the ones who just sent kegs, and at that, the only one of those I even know of off the top of my head was J Wakefield.

May not have always been a brewer behind the booth, but almost all of them were at least representatives from the brewery.

 

Looks like we got 2 more coming:
Orange Chantilly - aka "BO Killer"
IPA - Milkshake
IPA brewed with citra and simcoe hops with orange and vanilla added. Let it take you back to the days of chasing the ice cream truck on hot summer days cooling off with a refreshing orange/vanilla ice cream bar.

Low Ceilings
IPA - Imperial / Double New England
Double IPA with Citra and Mosaic hops. Climb into the low ceilings of the clouds where things are extra pillowy from the use of malted and flaked oats.

 

Except that the ice cream truck never exploded...

 

Deodorant IPAs, mildly intrigued.

 

If only the beer delivery truck played music on its route.
