All this talk of the hop burn has me unreasonably excited for these

Have I ever done anything to you to have you sit on here and publicly talk shit about me? Yet, I’m the “shady” one. I’m shady and dishonest because on our cans it says by “honest people” ?? . A major reason I left a well paying job while I have a family to help take care of was to be in charge of the morality of my own company because there were many things that were going on that I didn’t agree with, things I’m not going to say on here because at this point it’s water under the bridge. If you choose not to read between the lines, so be it. So yeah, putting “by honest people” is an important facet to our brand, values and who we are and is a constant reminder to us who we need to be and why we got to where we are.

I’m at LZB right now. Glasses still available as I see 3ppl with a clean glass on their table. About 12ppl overall but a couple in and outs in the last 10 mins I’ve been here.

 

So not worth chasing then?

 

Lol, I just left so we were here at the same time. Mike (who was ringing people up before Jessica took over) said glasses sold out a while ago.

I think it was worth watching the total obliteration of the resident troll by @Shaun_phase_three for the rest of us however. So in that respect, was not a waste of breath.

 

Well I wasn't saying phase three was like hop butcher, I was saying more is closer to hop butcher. They aren't the same but they are two beers focused on for the most part, juicy hops with a pillow mouthfeel. I was just trying to say since he hasn't had anything that shaun made, that it isn't really like many other beers available in the area. I think Hop butcher is the closest thing to it (but you are right throwing corridor in there). I just got my phase three so I'll have to see. I don't expect this to be a banger right away. He's on brand new equipment so might take time to dial things in.

Isn't hop burn just small hop particles that eventually settle out? Would make sense that the last few ounces were intense

 

Um, just bought a glass as I was walking out. Granted Jessica sold it to me fwiw.

Truthfully it was prob a used glass that she just got done washing considering she where she pulled it from (by the tap).

Wouldn't surprise me. When I was in there at open I purchased a glass and asked the guy pouring, "Should I just keep the one I'm drinking from" and he said "If you don't mind". I didn't mind. They had just opened some boxes of new glasses so I was the first to drink from it anyways.

Idk he does add a lot of comedic commentary. Lets all put the part behind us and focus on what's hot right now, which is the beer.

@Shaun_phase_three what was the decision to distro cans when it seems like consumers are saying it's not ready yet? Is the beer up to your standards of being consumed right away?

 

I’m drinking it now at beer cellar. I really like the hop bite, but I’ve always preferred fresh Trillium to a Tree House or couple weeks old Trillium for perspective.

Personally, I think it’s very similar to his MoRE beers, with a little more pillowy mouthfeel

 

Anyone know if they skipped Schaumburg binnys today? There feed for deliveries stopped awhile ago
