Correct on the Curvature at Binny's LP last night. Grabbed the last bottle. A nice surprise walking in without any expectations.

"P.S. Don't ever step away to get a beer with Evan (Phase Three GM) around and with your turn in Buck hunter coming up. Things will not go well for you."

Why does this sound like the people who brew honest beer are cheating?

Energetic Mind drops today. Double batch, plus tons of new accounts added. Should be much easier to obtain this time around.

My last two cans of Perpetual Sounds tasted very nice, definitely were a bit better with a week or so on them. Nice beers but at the price point ($16ish for a 4 pack) I'll probably not pick them up often.

Not sure about that, but people who play Buck Hunter are on the level of people who play Golden Tee. I don't want to buy beer from either.

I’ve found almost every DDH to be better 2 weeks after canning.

Regarding the price, what haze are you seeking out that is significantly cheaper and on the same level? 15-16 is the price ive seen for the majority of the style

I don't really buy a lot of NE IPAs to be honest. If anything I'll throw a can in every now and again in a mixed six pack.

Prob the worst of all P3 releases to date. I had a small pour and decided to pass on cans

Good to hear I wont have FOMO for not chasing in the rain today. Plenty of other IPAs around

Lol just my opinion, to each their own! I’d be curious to hear your thoughts when you crack a can though

Just had a can... I don’t think it’s their worst release, I’d put it in the middle. It’s heavy on the Vic Secret side but still a noticeable Citra profile. Nice soft mouth and still a bit green.

    Really? Protocol?
This reminds me of Low Ceilings. Still green with a little bite but you can taste the potential. 3 weeks in the can and that beer turned amazing.

I really haven't been a big fan of their DIPAs and this was no different. I agree with @jbecke2 that its a bit heavy on the Vic Secret for my taste.

I'm no Phase Three apologist, but I found this one quite tasty. Possibly a bit green (I think it was canned today?) but real nice orange citrus, grass & mild cream notes.

It's not Julius, but it's better than 90% of the NE IPA's Chicago is burping out these days.

Protocol was one of my least favorite ipas I’ve had in a couple years so that’s a pretty low bar you’re setting
