For a release at what time?

 

Noon but they are handing out tickets well before noon so people can come back. I doubt I make it I. Time now but we’ll see

 

Can someone grab me a couple of tickets?

 

I don't understand. You can walk right in and buy this beer, why wait for two hours in a line? I wish I had that much time on my hands...

 

They gave out tickets at 9:40. A chilly 90 minutes but glad to get one down the street from me

 

maybe in a dead zone like Schaumburg, that’s not gunna be the case anywhere else Bud

 

I knew I should have hit Schaumburg for Curvature. Ah well. It's fine.

I did get some Perpetual Sounds yesterday. I haven't had it before. I didn't drink it super cold. The flavors developed even more as it warmed. As a first timer with this one I thought it was really good and balanced. I'm a sucker for Mosaic hops, though.

 

Very smooth at Des Plaines. ~45 people in line at open, right in and out. 1pp, stamped hands. Heard it’s sold out at this point but sounds like it was available past 10am

Rolled into Shaumburg Binnys at 10:15 and got one of the last 5 bottles(thats what the guy at the service desk said)

 

Dave (well, his daughter) handed out tix in two batches at the original Beer Cellar. Second batch was handed out ~11 and ran out. Sale began at noon when the store opened; people have 'til closing to actually buy.

 

I'm drinking one now and am getting the exact same. The pop of hop at the beginning is really tasty!

 

Did they run out of tickets before the end of the line?

So did anyone try the new Curvature? If so how was it? Was it a complete cinnamon bomb? I’m saving my bottle to share with some friends in a couple of weeks.

 

I honestly don't know. There were at least 20 people behind me and after I got mine I went off to my car to sidebar with a few friends. Then another friend texted me to say he was almost there and I went to check if any tix were left and saw a sign on the door saying they'd all been handed out.

 

Just to be clear, you could go home at 9:40 and return any time before close. Having said that, they still had tickets left at open so that’s something to remember for next time

 

It was outstanding. Perfect balance of both adjuncts. The thickest Curvature to date. Once this base finishes in the barrel, it will be truly special. Drink the beer, wouldn’t sit too long on it. cheers

 

Had it last night. Not a cinnamon bomb, not a coconut bomb either...fairly balanced, with a killer mouthfeel.

I'd have preferred the coconut be a bit stronger, but it was a really nice beer.

 

I got there at about 10:20 and someone showed up around 10:40 with tickets. 2 or three guys waited for 5 minutes and said how dumb it was to wait lol... just went to the bar across the street to watch football while I waited.
