Phase Three Brewing (2020)

I've brought my kids to Consume plenty of times and they offer a small $1 ice cream sundae, so it's fairly easy to convince my kids to go there.

Treehouse isn't a bad option for kids 8-9 or under. LZ Binny's is 2 doors down from there and Freddy's (similar to Steak and Shake, offers frozen custard) is across the parking lot, so my kids don't mind going over to that strip mall area if I tell them Treehouse or frozen custard is in their future.

If the weather is nice, Paulus Park is the largest and has a lot of stuff there. If you scout the area, there are plenty of nice parks and lakes nearby, as well as a couple farms. Sunset Park on the other side of the lake has a nice deck to drink on (they serve beer and wine), a playground, charcoal grills, and a small beach.

Downtown Long Grove is only a few minutes away and it has the old tavern as well as a new brewery that I haven't tried out yet.

I know I'm leaving a bunch of stuff out and others have already mentioned other places, but those are the things I can think of quickly that are all within 5-10 minutes of P3.

 

Dear everyone who is going to p3 for the first time, it’s in a business park. Sorry to ruin the surprise. Business parks are notorious for not having anything, to do let alone being by anything. This is no different then the majority of breweries.

This gives credence to the idea that Pixel Density may be a year-round beer. Glad to see the west coast IPA is coming back for them ($10.99 a 4 pack).

I've been to the Panera and Mariano's in Lake Zurich and both were worthy stops in LZ.

 

Solid hot bar at that Mariano's!

 

Their OJ will put the rest of these hazy juice bombs to shame

 

I'm learning so much about Lake Zurich. Who knew that P3 Ambassadors were going to be required to be actual ambassadors for the town.

 

In time, one will likely become mayor.
