I can’t speak to the June batch (my camera was pointed at the logo), but the August batch didn’t have CTZ on the label

The new double nectar is really good. They really nailed the watermelon jolly rancher flavor.

Yeah it reminded me of watermelon jello (which I haven’t had in a decade)

Looks like Consume in LZ is giving us a sneak preview of the upcoming P3 release slate before the holidays. They are offering a mixed 4 pack of P3 beer along with their catering options. The 4 new beers are:

Warmest Wishes - Oatmeal Milk Stout - 7.3%
Just Use Your Wings - Winter IPA - 7.5%
DDH Perpetual Sounds - Hazy DIPA - 8%
Double Nectar Peach Cobbler - Fruited Sour - 7.8%

As we're sitting here, my wife goes to grab a drink from the fridge and says "Hey, which beer is the one that smelled and tasted like Starburst?"

Me: "The one in the black can with the squiggly green and pink lines."

Captain Christmas: *opens can* "Yep, this is the one!"

Looks like it is basically Winter Warmer ale
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/styles/47/

"Though it dates back to at least the 1600s, the winter ale isn't technically an official style like IPA, witbier, or stout are. Also called a winter warmer, the strong, usually dark ales that fall into this category were first brewed in Northern Europe to help give imbibers a little liquor-fueled heat. Those original winter warmers sported high ABVs, though many of today's seasonal winter ales are now lower, between 6-8%. ....But not all of them."

Why even put IPA in the title then? Winter warmers are nothing like IPAs.

It's not hazy, it's not a winter warmer. It's an "American IPA" brewed for the winter. It's not light like terrrazzzo, but also not as dark as an Amber. Somewhere in the middle. It's got Cascade, Centennial and Chinook. It's loosely inspired by Sierra Nevada's celebration ale.
