OG was $10.99 at Binny's yesterday; ER / Angel's were both on sale for $34.99. Not sure how that compares.

I saw the OG at my local Jewel for $6.99 and the AE for $24.99 a few weeks ago. Think there have been some other Jewels selling the OG for as low as $3.50

Even some markdowns lower at register than the sale price. I think I paid $21 for Prop recently

I love Phase Three Bourbon County Stout. Can't believe it's so cheap, that's not really P3's business model!

I sadly think p3 has gotten too big. This eunoia is a shell of its former self. 23 months in a barrel for what? There isn’t a scent of it. B1 was one of my favorite stouts they have done. I fear the bigger batches are a damper on what used to be. I’ll quit my rant and drink another lager.

Funny you say that, because this is the first Eunoia loaded up with adjuncts where there was a strong presence of the spirit and oak. Really couldn’t disagree more about “shell of its former self.” Guess it’s time for you to give up your membership to someone who will actually enjoy the releases.

Opinions are fun! That’s what I love about beer. A “strong” presence of spirit is questionable though. I think rev stouts have a good spirit character so I would love to compare a rev adjuncted stout to it to see which one has a “stronger” presence. But I will keep my membership and share with my friends as I always do.

Ambassador exclusive goodies on Oznr, (sure hope it’s not another a shell of its former self), including a fast fingers one* as there’s not enough for all ambassadors…

I had their lager made with flaked oats Saturday at the Elmhurst outpost. 20 oz in the dimpled mug for $8. Super solid! Name escapes me and looking at Untapped, it may already be gone :slight_frown:

Hi all, just cracked my first Phase in some time. Was taking to my buddy who works at the store and happened to see this and wanted to give it a whirl. Did the cardinal sin I never do and forgot to check the date, which was 02/13. So about 2 months old. I’m not a date jerk by any means but sometimes distributors around here think 6 months is fresh. But I digress. Curious what folks here tend to find with their beer. I love Galaxy and Citra. The flavor is good but it seems it’s juuuust starting to hit that slightly malty sweet turning point. Which with fresh Galaxy I tend to find them to be the opposite and a nice bite from it. Figured I’d throw up a photo for reference. Either way. I imagine fresh this is excellent. I haven’t had too much from Phase and it’s been a while. But this was a good start. How does their stuff tend to hold up 2+ months and more. [IMG]

Looks like all of these are on at Elmhurst right now, anyone try them?

Tempted to pop over later today.

I popped in with the wife on our way to Indiana for the eclipse on Saturday and tried all four of them and they were spectacular and worth the stop. My ranking (thin margins between them) would be:

    1. Blended 2024
    2. AB POD
    3. HBD
    4. POD

As a long time pastry boi, I was wondering when I'd hit my sweetness threshold with some of these beers and yep, Perception of Depth definitely did that for me. I struggled down 5 oz, I hope no one has to solo-dome that. That finishing gravity can probably make a triple IPA.

When Phase 3 first opened up I wasn't a huge fan of their IPAs. They all had this weird "house" flavor that didn't mesh well with me. Recently, I started trying them again and I've been super impressed. Really digging Single Star and Geo. Nice balanced dryness to them but still super flavorful. Hope they keep those coming.

That's awesome. I do have to revisit, especially since they updated the branding - those cans look sweet. They took away the hops that they used in each beer tho, big bummer for me.

Any Ambassadors hit on the 5 year stout? I did, but I know 5 others who didn't.
