    Hey guys and gals,

i'm looking for a little advice, i'm heading to Philly next week and was going to pick up some out of my area beers. Can you all help with any local beers or other choices that dont come down to the VA area? I know about Russian River/Lost Abbey sending select products to that area. Any others?
Or if you know of a few stores that would be good to visit.

    Thanks in advance everyone,

I assume you're coming up 95, Pinocchio's in Media is a quick detour from there on the way to the city. You should be able to find some Russian River and plenty of Lost Abbey there.

Whole Foods in Devon is great. Also could stop in at Tired Hands in Ardmore and Capones in Norristown. Prices in the burbs likely to be cheaper if you can get out there.

Bottle shops in the city (these will be expensive):

    The Foodery (2 locations)
    Hawthornes
    Beer Heaven
    Food and Friends
    The Bottle Shop
    Local 44 Bottle Shop

In addition to RR and LA, you should look out for Half Acre and Perennial.

According to seekabrew.com in terms of locals you don't get Philadelphia Brewing Co, Sly Fox and Spring House. We get some Jester King, Deschutes, and Pretty Things.

I am familiar with Perennial. I love the Black Walnut Dunkel they make. I'll look out for Half Acre. Thanks

Thanks for the tip on whole foods in Devon. Just stopped there...awesome selection, and the guy working was extremely knowledgeable.

Look out for some Free Will brewing bottles in our area. Pretty rare but if you see some it will be fresh.
