Going to be visiting the Philly area over memori day weekend. Looking for food, bar, brewery, and store recommendations. Willing to drive an 1 or 2 from Philly for a good brewery.

On the docket so far is Tired Hands, Carton, and Kane on the way home. Might do Singlecut and Other Half on the way down.

    Thanks and cheers!

Forest & main is a solid stop, you won't be disappointed. Another good brewery is Pizza boy, but that's by Hershey if you were up for the drive

Zeuiax, thank you! I'll look into those and see what's feasible!

Trackcoach, thanks! That is definitely a possibility.

Monks is a must. For the food and the beer.

I'd say Bar Hygee is a must.

I really enjoy FreeWill. Its about 40 minutes outside Philly and worth the visit if you can go.

State Line Liquors is a 1 hour drive south down I-95 (from Philadelphia). They have one the best beer selections on the east coast. You will not be disappointed.

Get there early or you will be standing in a small corner to the side while you try to enjoy your beer. During the weekday it starts to fill up around 5 and weekends much earlier.

Really? I mean it's ok, but not a "must." If you happen to find yourself in Fairmount sure, but wouldn't go out of my way for it (much like Earth Bread).
