Monks is hosting MBC owners for a back bar takeover. Wish I was still there, Double Dinner, Dinner , Lunch and others. June 5 I think it is, just a heads up, they mentioned cash only at the back bar.

I don't know if it's Philly beer week, Monks pops up on my Facebook, and I saw the MBC date and lineup. I'd kill for a Double Dinner the only other place you'll get it is at the brewery in Maine.

    yes this is for PBW.

What is "Double Dinner?" Couldn't find any info here, untappd, internet, etc. I am not convinced it exists.

Dinner is a Double IPA. Think the OP is calling it Double Dinner by mistake

But he also listed Dinner by itself. I'm intrigued by this mystery beer.

    from Monk's:

Join Anne and Jeremy from Maine Beer Company for a happy tappy event featuring a lineup of MBC's most-wanted brews. These clean, elegant beers recall the austere beauty of Maine's forests and coastlines, and showcase hops with respect and craftsmanship. One of these beers, Dinner double IPA, has very rarely been available outside of MBC's taproom, and never before in Philadelphia.

I saw that a few days ago. Looks like the post above clears it up. I'm looking forward to this event, as Dinner has been a want of mine for the last few years.

If Dinner is anything like Lunch, it is massively overrated.
