I happen to agree. It's really not all that it is cracked up to be, IMO. Is it tasty? Yes, but certainly over-hyped. I had expected to be blown away by it.

I was. But to each his/her own. Looking forward to trying some others I haven't had yet during PBW!

    Regular huna is far superior.

For some reason, people won't go out of their way for these. "Regular" HF beers like Everett don't garner much hype. Which is fine by me; my sincere hope is that Edward will be showing up for beer week, and I can get my fill without any hassle.

They posted a pic on Twitter that showed what they are sending to Philly and it appears to be Everett and Arthur.

Tria is super classy. I went in there one time by myself to grab a few glasses of supplication and ended up talkin' shop with the bartender for half an hour. The staff knows their brews.

Yes, as I recall from hitting there last year it isn't very big. I may just stick to bopping around town.

    Thanks for the info.

I would suggest Forest and Main if you want a more relaxed pleasurable experience. Great beers, great food (the fish and chips was really good that I had on Friday), and they still have Manu Negra bottles available. Most people would probably tell you Tired Hands but I certainly would not.

That sure is the truth. I had several Evertt's this weekend, in a nice calm bar. And likewise, fine by me.

Capone's tapped some CBS yesterday. No idea how long it lasted.

Anyone know of the best way to get to Northern Liberties via train? Would it be best to take a train to Market East then take public transportation over?

I have taken the R5 to 30th Street and then hop on the MFL to Girard Station.
To get the Market Frankford El, you need to leave 30th Street station and go across the street to the Subway Station...it's easy.
If thirsty, grab a beer in Bridgewater's.

From Jersey, You take the PATCO to 8th&Market, then switch to the Market-Frankford line.

You don't have to go across the street to get to the MFL from Market Street Station. Just do a Google Map route for public transit and you will be good to go.

This is a much better resource than BA for transportation questions: http://www.septa.org/
