I'm up early this Sunday, so here's my closeout post for my guesses of the major happenings on this final day of PBW:

    - Looks like several bars are closing out with plenty of Russian River: Local 44 is doing a big tap takeover, SPTR has 4 "tions," as part of their brunch, and in a late addition, Isaac Newton's is throwing on a bunch of RR as well today.
    - The Dock Street 5K Run/Music Festival (400 runners are signed up plus whatever additional crowds come for the afterparty music fest).
    - A lot of PBW venues do brunches on the last day. I figure a few that will be busy are Devil's Den (saisons), Hawthorne's (Coronado), and as mentioned before, SPTR (Extreme beer).
    - I imagine the biggest "leftovers" spot will be Capone's (maybe Teresa's depending on how much Hill Farmstead survived and is left on).

You've made it this far, so close out PBW in style! Enjoy!

Went to Boilermaker last night for the Cabinet Artisanal tap takeover. They had a really nice selection(about 20) of Terry's beers including sours, collaborations and BA one-offs. I avoided beers I've had before like Everlasting Bright, Goslar and Layover in Berlin and tried nine of his beers that were new to me. The brandy barrel aged quad that he did with Struisse is really good. Other highlights were Saison Brett barrel 1, Sungasm Red Oak, rauch-n-roggen and Streaking Around the Campfire at Night. Thinking about going back tonight to try everything that I missed. They are having the same event at FC tonight with a slightly different list so I might hit up both places.

There is some good stuff on at FC now, make sure to try the BA MKUltra, it's an intense sour and the BA Brett Barrel One is also on.

Turns out my Beer Week was not quite over. I found out that City Tap House still had Black Note on tap, so I naturally had to go have one last brew. How wonderful to be able to enjoy BN twice in one week!

Had Black Note the other day as well - no doubt the highlight of my first PBW along with BBPt5.
