No idea, haven't been there. Haven't heard a whole lot about them.

I was there for their first anniversary celebration. I had a number of small pours of their beers and I enjoyed everyone of them. A specific 'shout out' to the Rauchbier!!

I had lunch there (burger) and I thought it was excellent.

    Cheers!

You should definitely hit up the Blue Monkey which also has great food in addition to one of the best tap lists in these parts. It is literally two minutes from Pennsauken.

I will add in Tonewood in Oaklyn NJ to the mix. Cool relaxed vibe with lots of friendly people and their Fuego IPA is especially good. Other beers there are basically average to good.

Blue Monkey and Pour House have already been mentioned, but both have great tap and bottle lists. Food at both places is above standard.

Ok what I meant is I like quads, sours, and English barleywines. Otherwise, don't like belgians or english styles. Those are the exceptions. Lol.

Since you're in Pennsauken I suggest hitting up Tonewood Brewing Co in Oaklyn, NJ. They have a crowler machine and if they have Fuego on tap get that.

Also NJ beer store prices are well below PA's. use seekabrew.com to see what common breweries NJ and PA share (or what you don't get in Georgia). I suggest going to the Roger Wilco in Pennsauken.

Wow, I checked out seekabrew.com and it's awesome - unfortunately right off the bat I found that it's not completely correct. They list 12 Percent Imports as being distributed in Louisiana and Alabama, which is possible, but I know they're based out of New York and definitely distribute there as well as PA. I also had some Blackberry Farm on tap in Florida 4 months ago, and they're only listed as being available in Tenn. and Oklahoma. I'd imagine it's almost impossible to keep up with all of the changes in distribution - I can't even keep up with all of the new breweries opening near me!

I looked at what 12 Percent imports and for example they have Evil Twin, Local Option and Off Color in their portfolio. Those breweries have their own entries in the seekabrew database but that's it for the rest of the 12 Percent imports.

Ahh, I get it. It's only U.S. breweries, but, yeah, it's a little odd to have a distributor listed then, isn't it? And that still doesn't explain Blackberry Farm, or even Diamond Knot which is out of Washington but is only listed as distributed in New Mexico and New Jersey. I don't know - let's drop it, it's not what this thread is about.

BTW - thanks for the suggestion on Tonewood, I haven't made it out there yet but it's now on my list.

Just as a side note Tonewood has recently started canning Fuego. Picked up a case the other day, and the batch is good.

Don't forget - both locations of Tired Hands are really close to each other and except for hop hands and saison hands - beers are totally different. Enjoy!

Make a reservation at the Fermentaria unless you're going solo. Wait for a table on weekends can be long.
