Meeting up with some of my Tulsa and Colorado peeps for the first ever Oklahoma Phish show. Going to be in the city for a couple days and wanted to know from you OKC BA's what I should grab that isn't available in Austin. Show isn't until late August but I'm beyond ecstatic that my favorite band is playing within driving distance from me and wanted to get a head start on beer suggestions. Any other BA's planning on going?

Definitely Grab some Coop, Redbud, Marshall & Choc (Signature series).

Coop is about to release their Wild Wheat Wine. Not sure if there will be any left on shelves when you get up this way but I would be happy to set a couple bottles back for you. There should also be a couple new Redbud limited releases by that time, DO NOT miss out on these! They are fantastic. Another new brewery, Anthem Brewing Company, should have product available by the time August rolls around. Im not sure if it will be available on shelves or tap only but Matt is an incredible brewer. We are all looking forward to his Belgian focused ales hitting our market. Feel free to message me if you want to set up an IPT or need any more help. Mustang may also have some limited release beers hitting the market by August. It will all depend on the setup of their new brew system from what I understand.

I will also be in your neck of the woods at the end of the month for a little Tour de Austin.

The Zoo Ampitheatre is right up the road from me. By August you should be able to purchase F5 and DNR in the can from Coop Ale Works - top notch. Pick up some Native Amber too, can't go wrong with that great brew. And I second what ThirstyHerf said…Cheers bro ~

Awesome guys...I'm sure I will repost as the concert date nears to see if there are any limited run or new stuff around. I've had the Native Amber and really enjoyed it and also I've had the Redbud Cuvee 3 and liked that as well...also some Marshall's stuff which was solid. Need to get some info on where to do my shopping at some point as well. I trade with a really cool and generous dude in Oklahoma but I might be down for an IP if there's some stuff you guys are wanting. I'll be in touch...thanks guys.

Hopefully the F5 will be in cans by then. My understanding is that It hinges on the new canning line. Blake, Pat & the canning line guys can barely keep up with the demand for Native Amber and Horny Toad right now. Also, I've heard this may wait until they are on the bigger, 30 bbl brew system at the new location. At least yo can get DNR in 750's... Just let it get a few months age to allow the Trappist yeast to eat through a little more sugar. So good when it has the appropriate age...

Shopping depends on where you stay. When you have your hotel or plans set, we can let you know the best place near you (if there is one) to shop for some good OK beers.
