Phoenix Area: NEIPA or NEPA with chiles/cayenne?

    Hi all,

    We are coming down to watch some games at Sloan Park and Camelback Ranch.

    I appreciate and have been trying to keep up with all of the info on the other threads for which breweries to visit.

    What is the best brewery for a NEIPA or NEPA or even a lager with chiles/cayenne?

    Also, any recommendations for a place with an awesome green chile burger that also has some good beer?

    It's not a pale or a lager but you may be interested McFates Hatch Chile Gatos which is a Golden Ale. I thought it was nice despite not having much to compare it against.

    Agree with the McFate rec for the chili beer and they had a decent NE style IPA on as well recently. Not for chili beer but you'll probably be happy with Tombstone NE style IPA as well.

    You're on your own with the chile beer, but I would recommend AZ Wilderness for the burger. They have one with a roasted jalapeño on it, but all of their burgers are excellent. Always something good on tap there as well.

    I don't think I have ever heard of a NEIPA with chiles anywhere. Not a style combo I would want, though.

    Going to be a timing game. They release can kinda randomly to the valley. Depends on the part of the valley but Kings in Phoenix, one stop in gilbert, battle shop 48 in tempe. They all seem to get them.
