I'll be spending a week in Phoenix next month and I'm specifically looking for the best place to buy individual cans and bottles of things. I'm flying in, so I plan on shipping beer back home to myself and individual cans/bottles are way easier than having to buy everything by the four or 6-pack.

I've been to Gilbert Convenience Mart, Tops Liquors and Liquor Express and they were all great shops, but wondering what else is out there. I'm gonna be staying in Chandler, but anywhere there, Phoenix/Gilbert/Mesa/Tempe/Scottsdale is within range since I'll be all over the city in that week.

    Thanks guys!

I'd recommend Bottleshop 48 in Tempe, near Liquor Express. Small, but good. I've also heard good things about King's Convenience, but have never been, myself.

Other than those and the ones you mentioned, I think that's about it besides BevMo, Whole Foods (the one in Chandler at Ray & the 101 is awesome), and Total Wine. Of those three, only TW has a decent singles selection.

Kings Convenience on Central in Phoenix is a must stop. They have a bar attached now with a great taplist, almost all of which they will put in a crowler to take to go.

I'm a GCM fan myself. Solid owner, solid selection.

Totally agree on Bottleshop 48. They dont have the social media following of the others and hence are somewhat beneath the radar so you can often find limited release beers there much after the other places have sold out.
