Here for a few days and trying to buy local only when I hit the BevMo. Anything I shouldn't miss? Thanks!
Heading to Wren tonight after some NFL football games. Prolly be there around 6:00. I still haven't been there yet.
Whew. If you’re not looking really careful you’ll miss this place. Located right next to a liquor store. Very slow for a Sunday post Cardinals game. Pleasantly surprised to see so many lighter style beers and no lactose beers (like my local two popular ones) had the following: Still Works Pale Ale
Wrenovation was my fav. West coast ipa light ish. leaving with the Kolsch and Big Spill Pils for the Cards-Packers game on Thursday. A lot of visitors came in and out with small pours while I was here. Didn’t get to see any BAs.
Other ones I've been to, each with their own charm/uniqueness Throne Brewing Co 8-Bit Ale Works Saddle Mountain Fate Brewing (Shea)
TCBC has some awesome beers. New place (right next door to their old place) has a lot more room and cool vibe. Creating some solid beers. Will be visiting there multiple times this next week. Also went to Vanilla Monkey (It is close to my resort - i think it is in scottsdale - so Phoenix is now also including Scottsdale and Tempe). Great selection of single cans, lots of local. Also 20~ish or so taps of solid beers. Also sells wine. Great vibe.
Trying to hit up the Shop Beer Co this week, but its a bit of a drive from Surprise, AZ. Climbed Camelback Mt. too - I recommend if you still have half a breath. It was tough.
You hit up some good spots. I love Wren House and there's a tap house called Wandering Tortoise thats pretty cool, they carry lots of local stuff and stuff from other breweries too. Yeah the new TCBC is nice, sure beats the old small place.
