    Just got a new phone, and want to be a cool kid and post pics. Which photo app works best for posting here?

    I don't know what "works best" but I use Instagram for beer and you can embed photos from there using the Media option. Like so:



    You can also then follow breweries, bottle shops, etc.

    And you don't necessarily have to use hashtags if they bother you. :wink:

    I used photobucket for a while, but their site seems to suck these days (way too many ads, super slow, etc.). Now I use Imgur. Definitely easiest one that I have tried, though I've never used Instagram.

    Untappd's web version uses AWS for image hosting. You could always just save the image address and post them other places.

    Although Untappd butchers photos now.

    I use Imgur.com

    upload photo ----- once the photo is done, choose "BBACode" option from drop down menu. copy/past that link to your post and THERE IT IS!

    no app on phone required

    I've been using Post Image lately. Imgur gave me nothing but trouble a while back and I haven't tried again.

    Interesting ... it seems like everyone has different luck with the different sites. I have had absolutely zero problem with the imgur app since I started using it.

    imgbb.com works well and has the benefit of not being filtered at my work like imgur is.

    Playing with Imgur now, and not being able to figure out how to move a pic from there to here. Using the app.

    Copy and paste the image's address. Make sure the address is sandwiched between the right code (which I can't show appropriately since the site thinks I'm trying to show a picture).

    On my phone (iphone) once I have a picture uploaded all I have to do is click on the picture:

    Then an icon comes up at the bottom middle of the screen

    Click on this icon and then click on Copy Link:

    [​IMG]

    On your post, select the image button and then paste the link.

    I don't get the bar that has the link icon. After i choose a pic, what step am I missing?

    Nah, it's so I can post pictures of all my mule, er, "friends" standing in line with me for the latest Rarz.

    Actually, it's for NBS, the NBS BIF H&H thread, and to add place pictures from the places up here that can use an update.

    Yes, on the New Beer Sunday thread, we often share pics. We are also in the middle of a Beer It Forward right now, where we are leaving Hints for our targets, and posting pics of our Hauls. I would like to be able to join in. Plus, it was time for a new phone, so I upgraded.
