Looking to land a bottle now vs. in 5 years when the vertical finishes. Anyone seen any show up recently? I've seen them going for $150-200 on other sites but that doesn't help in terms of trade value.
regular PiaPT shows up from time to time and is much easier to get now than it was a few years ago imo, ba partridge is still one that is harder to find.
Oh, I'll help you drink it; no worries. P.S. I say we just open my set soon and do a "halfway there" vertical to see how things are holding up.
I've been doing the same, I have 2-7... I've noticed that the main items are east coast rares/whalez... Most people on the west coast who have PIAPT, have access to everything that were already able to get... I'm holding out and hoping I can score Pappys Remy/ CFH '15 and get something going with those gems
Popped a PiaPT last night, and I would honestly say it isn't worth dropping a whole lot into this one. It hasn't aged well, and if it's subpar now, I can't imagine how drain-worthy this will be by the time the series wraps up. Proceed at your own risk.
Its value typically doesn't pick up until the holiday season kicks in and people start thinking about doing the vertical of this. But yeah, this is a situation of EV 02-02-02. It's not going to taste good, but tickers gotta tick.
i figured that was for regular, i was asking about BA. also, we all know a 12 year old bottle conditioned belgian quad with spices will totally rock our tastebuds in 5 years
I've had two turtle doves, three French hens and five golden rings somewhat recently and in my opinion these definitely are not the beers you trade for to drink. It's a fun set to have but I think getting even a small pour down is hard.
You would do better just trading for an empty bottle after someone drain pours it. Got to give it though to Patty, people still talk about this
IMO 7 swans was pretty tasty right out of the bat. And i have enjoyed all the BA versions i have had so far (3, 4, 5)
